Kazakhstan Aluminium Smelter Project Management Department of China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering &Construction Co.，Ltd has recently signed the equipment procurement contract with ALSTOM Company of Norway for the equipment of GTC system.
GTC, Gas Treatment Center, is the key process equipment of the smelter. NFC Kazakhstan Aluminium Smelter Project Management Department had gone through detailed work for this equipment, and finally considered ALSTOM of Norway, the world well known GTC manufacturer, as the best choice. The contract stipulates: Concerning the entire FTP system, ALSTOM supplies the complete engineering, manufacturing, transportation, technical assistance for site installation and test-run, personnel training, etc.
Kazakhstan Aluminium Smelter project is the largest overseas project NFC has ever undertaken, and has been drawing the attention within the aluminium industry in the world.
